The shutter on the window of this abandoned farmhouse has somehow over time been pulled away by some unknown force.

I like this post very much. Just 1 critique, how much USM have you done in CS2? I would have done a little more on it.

@Shuva Brata Deb: I'm very much a rookie/amateur photog & I have PS-6 so I'm not sure what you mean by USM. I did a little tweaking but not much.

USM stands for un sharpen mask i guess. This one is very very nice geoff. Rule of thirds working at its best here Unlilke in my today's image. I would like to see more of your compositions of the same place and around. I like shooting in abandoned houses and similar.

Simple composition done perfectly. Shuva's suggestion of using an Unsharp mask is a good one although I'm not sure it's available in PS6 ... either way, a little more sharpening would have made the image pop but still a great shot nonetheless.

@Aaron Schmidt: I found unsharp mask in PS-6. I played with it a bit and see what you mean. But any suggestions with the 'amount', 'radius', & 'threshold' so that I'm not over doing it?
